The lead to Marriage
Marriage is a commitment between two individuals, usually caused by one partner falling in love with the other, wanting to have kids, and hoping for a better future. It can also be caused by love motives and family pressure.
"By 1998, this had risen to 26%, and findings from one 2011 study suggested that the number of women married or cohabiting with a man five years or younger had almost tripled since the 1970s.".
As for the love motive, Some couples get into this marriage because of a love story. They took this action since they adore one another and have been living a happy life thus far. But older generations were more likely to experience successful, large-age gap marriages that were based on love.
In addition, family pressure is one of the main motives. Some families put pressure on their sons and daughters to enter into these relationships, whether it's for financial gain or the chance to share interests. However, this depends on social class typically, upper class people exchange interests, whereas lower class people exchange money.
In my opinion, these motives have a huge impact on merging partners lives together but it depends on each and every one's perspective.
